Sullivan County Memorial Hospital

In the early 1950’s a group of concerned citizens unified their efforts to change the inadequate healthcare delivery system of Sullivan County. Their dedication and unification of a common goal led to the existence of Sullivan County Memorial Hospital.

Six decades later, a new era of medicine has evolved, technological advances along with governmental mandates has dramatically changed medicine and our nation’s healthcare delivery system.

On May 5, 2026, the Senior Leadership Team of Sullivan County Memorial Hospital, comprised of Amy Michael (COO), Danny Bartlett (CAO), and Martha Gragg (CEO), along with other hospital personnel, Rosa DeLeon (HR Director) and Billie Ryals (Business Development Coordinator), convened with the Sullivan County Commissioners: Michael Williams (2nd District Commissioner), Chris May (Presiding Commissioner), and Rye Page (1st District Commissioner). The purpose of this meeting was to officially proclaim the week of May 4 through May 8 as National Hospital Week in Sullivan County.
National Hospital Week serves as a valuable opportunity to recognize our hospitals and healthcare professionals, emphasizing that hospitals are the foundation of healing. This week also highlights the essential role these institutions play in promoting the health and well-being of the communities they serve.
