Visitor Policy – Sullivan County Memorial Hospital
EMERGENCY ROOM VISITORS
ADULT PATIENTS – One Visitor at a time. Visitors may switch during posted visitor’s hours.
PEDIATRIC PATIENTS – Children may have up to two visitors at a time during posted hours.
VISITING HOURS
Emergency Department: 7:30 am – 10:00 PM
Hospital Visiting Hours: 7:30 am – 8:00 pm
OUTPATIENTS & PROVIDER CLINICS
Adults and Children – One Visitor may stay with the patient at all times. INPATIENTS ADULT PATIENTS – Up to Two Visitors at a Time During Visiting Hours PEDIATRIC PATIENTS – One Visitor at a Time During Visiting HoursEvening or overnight visitors require pre-approval from nursing leadership
Palliative care or end-of-life patients will be based on approval from the provider or nursing leadership
COVID PROTOCOL NO visitors for COVID-19 patients or in isolation (PUI- Person Under Investigation) Patients who are diagnosed as COVID-positive will not be allowed visitors without specific exception approval Hospital, clinic(s), and Business Office personnel are still required to wear masks in public areas and during patient-facing activities
