We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Physicians’ Clinic team. The LPN provides nursing care under the supervision of Physicians and Nurse Practitioners, assists with procedures, performs patient assessments, and ensures a safe and comfortable environment for patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare exam rooms, take vitals, and assist with patient procedures.
- Administer vaccines and minor lab tests (influenza, strep, glucose, pregnancy).
- Record and report patient symptoms, reactions, and test results.
- Maintain accurate medical records and medication logs.
- Assist with patient education and answer routine patient questions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinic staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Follow all hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, and safety protocols.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Missouri.
- IV certification required; BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Experience in a clinic, acute care, or emergency setting preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage stress effectively.
