Radiology

Department Overview

The Diagnostic Imaging department at SCMH provides a full range of imaging services to support accurate diagnosis and treatment for our community. Services include X-ray, portable and bedside imaging, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and echocardiography. Our team works closely with referring providers to deliver fast, reliable results while keeping care close to home.

What Makes Us Unique

Although SCMH is a Critical Access Hospital, we have invested in imaging technology comparable to equipment available at many larger facilities. Patients receive access to advanced imaging without traveling to a metropolitan area, while our rapid-turnaround model helps referring providers receive the information they need promptly.

Expert Interpretation and Quality Care

Imaging studies are interpreted through our partnership with Alliance Radiology in Kansas City, led by Dr. Andrew Harmon. This partnership gives SCMH patients access to subspecialty radiologists, including specialists in pediatric radiology and other advanced areas. By combining modern equipment, scheduled mobile services, and subspecialty interpretation, SCMH provides comprehensive diagnostic imaging close to home.
