Sullivan County Memorial Hospital, a critical access hospital, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Patient Care to lead our nursing department and serve as a key member of our Senior Leadership Team. The DPC provides direction and oversight for all nursing operations, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and compliance with all regulatory standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing nursing services and staff development for emergency department, acute, skilled and outpatient services.
- Developing policies, procedures, and performance standards.
- Promoting patient safety and evidence-based practice.
- Collaborating with hospital leadership to achieve strategic goals.
- Supporting nursing education and professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in Missouri (required).
- BLS, ACLS,PALS required
- Bachelor’s in nursing (required); Master’s in Nursing or Healthcare Administration (preferred).
- Minimum five (5) years of clinical and leadership experience.
- Emergency and Acute Care required
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
