We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory team. This role is responsible for performing blood draws, ensuring accurate specimen handling, and supporting daily lab operations. The ideal candidate provides excellent patient care, maintains confidentiality, and works well both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and properly label specimens
- Verify patient identity and maintain accurate records
- Maintain clean, stocked, and organized work areas
- Follow all safety and biohazard protocols
- Assist with clerical duties and basic lab procedures
- Support laboratory staff and ensure smooth workflow
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Phlebotomy training/certification required
- 1 year of hospital or clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
